Heartsaver® CPR, AED, First Aid
Blended Learning
The Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR, AED blended learning program consists of online eLearning and a hands-on skills session. Blended learning provides convenience and flexibility to learn anywhere and anytime where an internet connection is available, learn at your own pace (stop and return to program), shorten time spent in-person classroom and decrease risk to COVID 19 exposure, less student teacher ratio and individualized learning in skills practice, and less stress overall.
Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR, AED blended learning is designed for lay person to recognize and provide CPR, AED, and appropriate first aid until EMS or paramedic arrives. Recommended for anyone with little or no medical training, who wants to be prepared in emergency situations. Two year certification issued at completion of course. May meet workplace or regulatory requirements.

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
Course covers: Pediatric first aid basics (bleeding and bandaging, allergic reactions, how to use an epinephrine pen, asthma, drowning, bites and stings, burns), CPR AED for children & infants, how to help a choking child and infant, CPR and AED for adults (optional), how to help a choking adult (optional).
Part 1: Select and complete the AHA Heartsaver® Online learning module. It has a personalized adaptive algorithm and is self-directed learning. After completion of the online course, print Certificate of Online Course Completion and email us a copy. You can proceed to Part 2 Skills Session, a hands-on skills practice/test appointment.
Parts 2: In-person Skills Session are done, reviews/demonstrates and completes hands-on skills test. A 2-year AHA certification ecard will be issued upon completion.

Registration: Please complete the registration form below. Course fee is required in order to receive your online course module. You will receive an email from American Heart Association with a link to the Heartsaver online module. Please complete the online module prior to skills session.

Safety Precautions
1:1 student to manikin is in place.
Manikins and equipment are sanitized with CDC recommended disinfectant wipes after each student use. CPR training requires practice of giving breaths through a pocket mask. Disposable manikin lung bags are changed after each student use. In addition, each students are given a new one-way valve to be used with a face mask. Participation in class carries Covid risks that can not be fully eliminated. Students may choose to simulate the breathing portion of the skills. Please let your instructor know. |
